Insurance fraud is a criminal act. And in Philadelphia it’s legendary. The City of Brotherly Love is famous for fraudulent auto accident techniques like the Swoop and Squat. But the real problem in this Philadelphia experiment is the general acceptance of fraud. It’s an ecosystem of claimants, tow truck drivers, body shops, chiropractors, attorneys, and the courts. A Study in Crime speaks with insurance fraud professional Robert Gaines.
Robert Gaines is a former SIU investigator for the Special Investigative Unit of a large insurance company and currently works as a claims adjuster handling catastrophe claims. He’s also the facilitator of the Free Time Mastermind group. Robert has a degree in business management from the University of Louisville and is an Army veteran. He has been in the insurance industry since 2011. He is an expert on all things involving insurance fraud. Find him here: Website, Facebook, Youtube, and LinkedIn.
